OpenAI's ChatGPT Images 2.5 model preserves more original details when users revise an image’s setting, style or composition. OpenAI has released ChatGPT Images 2.5, an upgrade aimed at people who want to revise a picture without losing the details they wanted to keep. OpenAI introduced Images 2.5 on September 8. The company says users can change the setting, visual style or arrangement while retaining more of the original details. ChatGPT’s surrounding editing controls let users specify where those changes belong. Conversational image refinement already existed in the earlier ChatGPT Images workspace. The practical difficulty is directing another revision when a broad written request has not produced the intended result. Users can attach a comment to an element and requesting its removal or a color change.
