Yab, short for Yet Another Browser, is a free Mac browser built for people who miss Arc, with AI that runs on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan. It weighs about 40 MB, needs no account and requires macOS 15.4 or later. Serafim Korablev makes Yab, and the latest build is version 0.35.5, available from the Yab website. The browser runs on WebKit, the engine already built into macOS, which is how it stays small. That is the same approach Search, another WebKit browser for Mac, takes. Yab imports from Arc, Dia, Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Brave. When you bring in Arc, every space, pin and folder lands where it was, and each one keeps its own color.
