South Korea ranks third globally in weekly active users of OpenAI's "Dots", while its number of ChatGPT Pro users is in the global top five, the company said. OpenAI said on Oct. 23 it held "OpenAI DevDay Exchange: Seoul" at Raum Art Center in Seoul on Oct. 22. More than 600 local developers and industry participants attended. At the event, OpenAI Korea Country Manager Kyung-hoon Kim (김경훈) introduced the figures as of October this year. He also explained that feedback from local developers is being reflected in product development, including Linux support for Codex and improvements to the mobile user environment. DevDay Exchange is an event where OpenAI introduces technologies announced in the United States to developer communities in each country.
