OpenAI expands ChatGPT advertising to Pakistan, 25 other countries

The expansion comes as the artificial intelligence company seeks to increase revenue ahead of a potential initial public offering (IPO). The latest rollout covers 14 additional Latin American countries, including Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru, following earlier launches in Mexico and Brazil. Ads will appear only on ChatGPT's Free and Go subscription plans, while Plus, Pro and Enterprise subscriptions will remain ad-free, the company said.
