People have already changed how they research and decide. Microsoft’s AI Diffusion Report puts the UAE at 70.1 per cent of its working-age population using AI in the first quarter of 2026, the highest share in the world. Visa’s 2026 Stay Secure study found that 85 per cent of UAE consumers use AI tools for online shopping, and 59 per cent use them to compare prices. ChatGPT now shows ads to adult users on its Free and Go plans, including logged-out sessions. Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise subscribers do not see them. That is a sensible, cautious start for a product built on trust.
